the right
thing to do
is the only
thing to do.
Doing what’s right for Michiganders, whether they’re members or not, is what we do every chance we get because we are Michiganders.
Every impact we make creates a chain reaction that sparks from one person to the next, spreading from our families and friends to our neighborhoods and cities, and before you know it, we see the effects come full circle.
Values are more than ideas to be talked about. They’re the principles that guide every action we take — at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

What makes a rebrand really work is when it truly portrays what an organization is all about. And that’s why the new icon in our logo, Daisy the bear, works so well for us.
Like us, Daisy is a mama bear that protects and prepares in equal measure. Like Daisy, we’re warm and nurturing, encouraging our members to live up to their dreams, while also being fierce and strong, willing to do whatever it takes to preserve our members’ economic health and safety.

with her origami-inspired design, Daisy represents the infinite possibilities our members are empowered to pursue
Our members can confidently move forward, knowing a mama bear is always there to watch their back.

the most of the money they work hard for by making it work for them in return. They also have the flexibility to move funds in and out of the account whenever they need without penalty.
For members interested in a longer-term investment, we’re always exploring new ways to help them. In addition to offering IRAs and certified investment consulting, we’re constantly rolling out special CDs, like the high-interest Boost CD and the low-minimum One Pride CD, which puts a little fantasy football flavor into saving.
With no minimum deposit to open, our High Yield Savings Account gives everyone the ability to make
things look a little sunnier for our members because they know that if cloudy days come, they’ll be covered with a rainy-day fund.

That’s why it’s so important that we’re there for our members when they find themselves in dark days.
When storm season hit this year and thousands of Michiganders found themselves without power, we knew that was our cue to do what we do best. We immediately provided members throughout the state with emergency credit cards, so they could pay expenses related to outages, like hotel rooms and food.
Of course, tough times come in all shapes and sizes, so we’re always ready to do what we can to help members when they need it most.
Just one bad break can make it feel like life is crashing down.

we’ve got some impossible dreams of our own to pursue. We believe everyone should have access to safe housing, comprehensive education, stable employment, flourishing economies, and vibrant communities. That’s why we created the Relentless Care Foundation. Through our foundation, we’re able to raise funds, direct resources, and be the change we want to see in the world.
While we’re working to make impossible dreams come true for others,

we’re growing our platform to make a bigger difference in the lives of more Michiganders.

We’re empowering students in area elementary, middle, and high schools with the resources and guidance to open their own Student Credit Unions. These student-led and student-operated credit unions are raising the level of financial literacy and cultivating fiscally responsible habits in next generation of leaders, doers, and dreamers.

For instance, when our members told us that they wanted a digital banking platform with comprehensive capabilities, customizable features, and fast, flexible responsiveness, that’s exactly what we made.

Michigan is a beautifully diverse place, full of people with unique circumstances that require particular considerations. To assemble a top-tier team that meets talent where they’re at and honors a life-work balance, we’ve introduced Paid Parental Leave, Paid Caregiver Time Off, and Paid Family Event Time Off. For team members seeking family planning support, we offer access to the Carrot Fertility Program. And to make sure we keep listening to and empowering team members, we’ve introduced AllVoices to anonymously express concerns, Efficiency Engine to suggest process improvements, and Team Dinners to foster stronger connections among departments and leadership.
